Happy August!!

Hi Everyone,

Julie here!  My turn to post an event LO after Hanukkah in July.  I chose Shavuot.  At my daughter's school, they always do a big celebration.  I love seeing the entire school dressed in pure, clean white.  I love all the flowers that the girls and boy wear.  I love the fruit and vegetables that the kids bring.  And I love that all the new babies born in the last year are presented to our Jewish community.  My little girls participated in the ceremony two years ago and it was a very special moment.

I used the Passover papers for this LO because of the pinks and to help bring out the colors of the flowers on my daughter's head wreath.  And the browns were a nice complement to the white without bringing it all down.

I'm also including a card that I created for my cousin's Bar Mitzvah using the Rosh Hashanah paper line.  I'm really bummed the picture came out blurry.  I didn't notice that in my camera and, of course, I've sent off the card so I can't do a retake.  But I think you get the gist of what the card is.

  1. I love the layout-what a special tradition! And the card is beautiful, even with the blurry picture.
