Altered Hanukkah treat tin

Hey it is Cassie again.  I am just dropping by to post one final Hanukkah in July project.  Don't forget to comment on this post or any of our other posts in July to be entered to win the Hanukkah line from Crafting Jewish Style.  For my final Hanukkah project I altered an empty nut container to make it into a tin to give Hanukkah treats in.  I hope you enjoy and don't forget to check back.  The winner of the prize for this month will be announced soon.

Recipe Time!

Hello!  Cassie here.  Happy Hanukkah in July again!  I was just dropping by to share a layout I made for my family "special occasion" recipe album that I am making.  This way all the special recipes we use year after year will be collected in one place and be easy to find.  For today's post I used one of my favorite Hanukkah treats, sufganiyot.  Nothing says Hanukkah like these yummy fried treats.  For anyone interested I use a recipe I found from Epicurious

Hanukkah in July- Inventory List

Hi everyone, Irit is here with my July Hanukkah page.. Yes, 5 month earlier, but here I am with my Hanukkah Inventory list. As you all know, kids are playing with Dreidel and are waiting for their Gelt, we, the grown ups, are eating.. And eating. And then, after those 8 days, we are dieting.

So   here is my journaling - laugh if you want, but it's so true.

One Holiday
Two girls
Three jars of oil
Four extra kilograms -that's more then 8 pounds, but it's for both girls
Eight days
Lot of food

As you all can see this July is full of HANUKKAH - see you again soon

Hannukah in July - layout

Hi, It's Shir and I'm happy to share with you another layout:

Every year on Hannukah we celebrate in the girls' kindergarten... The kids are dressed with white shirts and during the celebrations the lights are turned off and only ultra violet light is on - and all the white shirts are colored nicely... The kids are singing and dancing and the parents are taking pictures - like paparazzi :-)

Hannukah in July with Crafting Jewish Style and Great Giveaway

Hannukah in July? Seriously now, what's that all about?
Well, with (hopefully) lighter summer schedules and kids in camp we thought it would be a great time to either get a head start on holiday crafts and cards or catch up on layouts from last Hannukah. (I'm in the latter category-lots of pages to create this summer-oy!)
Throughout July, we will be posting some great Hannukah related layouts, tutorials and tips to get you in the crafting groove.
In addition, we have a great Hannukah in July Giveaway Package one lucky winner will receive a Hannukah 12x12 Scrapbooking Kit, Hannukah Card Kit and other assorted goodies!

Leave a comment on this post (and any other post throughout the month) in order to be entered into the giveaway.
Become a follower and you will be entered twice.
Link this post to your blog for an additional entry.

So what are you planning to craft this summer?
Do you even have time to craft in the summer?

We'd love to hear from you and see your creations.

Shabbat Shalom!

Have a great 4th of July!
